Cortinarius mucifluus Fr. subgenus Myxacium Északi pókhálósgomba. Cap 3-8cm across, convex then expanding to plane; straw yellowish at first, then tawny fibrous or olive-brown; glutinous. Gills adnexed, equal; pallid buff then rusty. Stem 60-110 x 7-12mm, equal; white; covered in glutinous veil which sometimes dries up into bands. Flesh pallid to creamy. Odor slight. Taste mild. Spores lemon-shaped, warty, 12.5-17 x 6.5-8µ, quotient 2.05. Deposit rusty brown. No clamps; no cheilocystidia. Habitat in swampy, wet areas in conifer woods. Occasional. Found in northern North America and Europe. Season September-October. Not edible. |
